In the future of managed information security services (MSSP), it appears that there will be a dominant player that will dominate the market, but it will not be a manufacturer. The reason for this is that no manufacturer is able to cover all areas of information security and offer the best in each of them, especially when the field is in frequent volatility. To offer a quality service at a competitive price, flexibility and multiple choices of manufacturers are needed, rather than relying on a single manufacturer.
Therefore, the preferred model will include a combination of products from two different manufacturers for each category, such as two DLP systems, while maintaining a higher support capacity than the manufacturer. This will enable the MSSP to offer a comprehensive suite of protection products and services, while creating advanced automations for deployment, installation, configuration and monitoring, which require significant knowledge and work.
In recent years, some manufacturers have begun to adapt to market demands and offer products to small organizations as well. But sometimes, the leading manufacturers are not involved in this process, and the products they offer are not always the same or accessible in terms of price. MSP companies that have begun to expand their offerings in the field of information security are not yet leaders in this field, therefore the solutions they offer do not fully satisfy the needs. Small suppliers sometimes do not know the products they offer in depth, which leads to inefficiency and higher costs.
